About Nettle Green

The idea for Nettle Green was born while on a weekend away at the Bedruthan Steps Hotel in Cornwall (highly reccomended by the way!). Whilst browsing their lovely shop, we got into discussion with another guest about how difficult it was to get hold of the funky Rice products they had.

Inspired, we went for a walk on the beach discussed our ideas of setting up an online store selling products that aren’t so easy to find (especially if you have children and can’t spend time browsing around shops – I shop online because of this reason). We wanted to offer something stylish that you would buy as a real treat for a friend or a special wedding gift – or of course as a delicious addition to your own house. Lots of research and many late nights later we realised our ambition of launching our own company.

We are really enthusiastic and devoted to finding new products. We aim to give a high level of service, it’s really important to us that our customers really enjoy the buying and receiving process with Nettle Green.

Nettle Green is focused on providing home and kitchenwares with a sense of strong design. We are especially passionate about products that are produced in the UK by fantastic small independent suppliers, or are sourced from fair trade accredited and audited suppliers (certified to SA8000).
